Baked Potato

You don’t have to be a chef to bake a wonderful baked potato. All you need is a few different toppings, a food processor. You can also have it in an oven, but it takes just as long, so why not bring it to your holiday gathering?

One of the easiest ways to make an extra yummy baked potato is by adding diced apples to it. You can also have it in the oven. You can even combine this to pineapple slices or bananas and pickles to make a fruit-based “dessert”.

Another superfood that has health benefits is the acai berry. It will add some incredible taste to any dessert. Simply blend your acai berry with vanilla extract and honey for a delicious vanilla protein pudding.

There is no end to the way you can decorate a fruit cobbler. Use fresh fruit like strawberries, berries, grapes, and kiwi. It really doesn’t matter what type of fruit you use.

A Cookie

A cookie is one of the best easy thanksgiving desserts that you can make. If you want a biscuit based recipe, you can use semi-sweet chocolate chips and ground almond, pumpkin, or cashew butter. Or for a chocolate cobbler, use unsweetened chocolate and a few different types of nuts.

It is a fun ingredient to use. Any kind of seed or bean will work. Simply grate them or blend them to form a smooth, creamy dessert. You will love to add them to your family members’ meals.

Avocado is also a great ingredient in many of your dessert recipes. All you need is some pureed avocado chunks or pureed cubed avocado. You can also try using frozen yogurt as a topping for your desserts.

In addition to avocado, the possibilities with seeds are endless. Corn, sunflower seeds, almonds, pecans, cashews, cashew nuts, walnuts, and pistachios make a great topping for your dessert. Then there are exotic fruits like passion fruit, citrus fruits like lemon, grapefruit, and pineapples that will also make for a nice dessert.

Different Flavors And Types Of Nuts

There are so many different flavors and types of nuts that you will find something for everyone’s taste. In fact, if you use these ingredients in the same dessert, it will still taste delicious. Carrots, red bell peppers, turnips, asparagus, Brussel sprouts, cauliflower, turnips, parsnips, prunes, dried figs, dried dates, popcorn kernels, and nutmeg all make for nice alternatives to your traditional desserts.

Easy thanksgiving desserts do not have to be complicated. They can be as simple as making a traditional cake, adding some sweetened whipped cream, and topping it off with some fresh berries or fruits. Many of the fruits mentioned above will make a wonderful topping for your dessert.
