Take a microwave-safe cup and spray with cooking oil or brush some melted butter. Whisk the flour, sweetener, salt, baking powder, skimmed milk, and cocoa powder together in a bowl. After combining it well, add the melted butter and vanilla extract. Pour the batter into the cup and fold in chocolate chips if you want. Bake the cake batter in the cup in a microwave for 40 seconds on High mode. Open the microwave oven door carefully and prick in the middle of the mug cake with a toothpick. If it comes out clean, your cake is perfectly baked. If it is still undercooked, bake for another 10 seconds.

Bake The Chocolate Mug Cake In An Oven

Prepare the cake batter as directed by whisking the flour, salt, sweetener, baking powder, and cocoa powder. Combine well with the melted butter and sprinkle some vanilla extract and chocolate chips if you like.

Preheat the oven to 180°C or 350°F in the meantime. Take a bake-proof cup or ramekin and spray it with melted butter or cooking oil. Pour in the cake batter and bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Insert a toothpick in the middle to confirm the baking is nicely done. In that case, the cake is ready to eat.

How To Have A Low-Calorie Fudge Chocolate Cake

Keep the ingredients the same as the steps discussed above and make a similar batter for the fudge cake. Brush the cup of the ramekin with cooking oil or melted butter and pout in the batter. But now, if you want a fudgier low-calorie chocolate cake, bake it for 11 minutes in the oven or 25 to 30 seconds in a microwave. Insert the toothpick and see if it comes out with a slight amount of fudgy cake mixture. You shouldn’t have runny cake batter on the toothpick, though.

You can have it without feeling guilty about cheating yourself while on a diet. Enjoy it alone by digging into the hot fudgy mug cake.
